Owned by two Australians who have lived in Barcelona for years, Federal has three floors, one of which is a rooftop terrace. Their windows on the main floor open up fully during the summer, creating an open air and breezy atmosphere, with people being able to sit both inside and outside on the sidewalk while sharing the same table. Their coffee is superb and you can also get it super sized, if you're craving some extra caffeine one morning.
