Folquer

Description:

• With its bright sunny decor and animated -- mainly Catalan -- clientele, Folquer has an arty-bohemian feel. Rather secretively located at the southern end of Gràcia, it's a welcoming spot with inventive tasty dishes that make use of first-rate ingredients. There are two particularly good-value lunchtime menus: the standard and the "Executive." Regional dishes, meanwhile, dominate the a la carte list. Try their pungent suquet de pop (octopus stew).
