Barcelona Pavilion

Barcelona Pavilion - Barcelona

  • Description:

    • A pavilion was built as the German National Pavilion for the international exhibition held in Barcelona in 1929. It was designed by the German architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and is an excellent example of 20th century modern architecture. A replica was built at the same site and is now known as Barcelona Pavilion. Watch out for the originality of Ludwig Mies not only in the designs but also in terms of use of the materials of construction at this tourist destination. The pavilion even today caters to be a perfect venue for various celebrations and events.
