- With over 75 000m2 of park, Illa Fantasia water park is one of Spain's most popular theme parks, especially during the intense summer heat. Just a short ride outside of the city this is one of the best ways to spend a Saturday or Sunday, trying out one of their 22 water rides or floating down the lazy river and soaking up the sun.
The park is also equipped with three huge swimming pools, a children's park, mini golf and a pirate ship. There are free buses from the city center in Barcelona which take you to the theme park, so be sure to check for specific departure times.
