- I love walking down this lively and colorful street. Just beware of pick-pockets! Stroll past the birds market, buy international press in one of its quiosks, enjoy the smell of the flower market, get lost in the amazing Boqueria food market, get a ticket for an opera show at the Liceu opera house, have hot chocolate and churros at Cafe de l'Opera (but skip the other terraces - they are tourist traps!), have an artist make your portrait, and keep walking all the way down to the port. All of this in about a half a mile walk!
