Description:
- This sports center is the oldest facility of its kind in Barcelona, having been built in 1955 by the architects Josep Soteras and Lorenzo García Borbón. Up until the major construction done on the Olympic Ring in preparation for the '92 Games, this was the only place in Barcelona large enough to hold the really big sports events. Nowadays it's used for shareholders meetings and other business activities as well.
