• The most elegant street in Barcelona. Start walking from Plaça Catalunya (the city center), and you'll soon want to stop in one of its fabulous fashion stores. All the Spanish brands are here, but also the international casual clothing and the highest designers. Not in vain the street was designed to look like the Champs Elysées of Paris when the city started growing in the 18hundreds! The food and the cafes are good here too. Plus along the street you'll find beautiful examples of our Modernisme (local version of French Art Nouveau), specially in the Block of Disagreement (Casa Lleo Morera, Casa Ametller, and the funky Casa Batlló), and three blocks further the fantastic Casa Milà/Pedrera.
