Sala Montcada de la Fundació La Caixa

Description:

  • This building, together with the Casa Macaya, belongs to the La Caixa Foundation. It is frequently used to exhibit the work of young artists, which means that you can really find some of the most modern and avant-garde work in Barcelona. Both national and international artists who are on their way to becoming famous are given an opportunity here to be part of the varied and bold programs at this house of art. Apart from exhibiting the work of new artists, parts of its program are dedicated to more famous artists, such as the exhibition dedicated to Picasso, which includes some of his original sketches.
