• 1h drive from Barcelona, Tossa beaches are very scenic (between rocky cliffs) and are part of the beautiful Costa Brava area. Great fish restaurants along the water and a charming medieval Old Town on top of a hill overlooking the water. It is very unsual to find such well preserved medieval walls so close to the sea! In Tossa locals mix with tourists, but it is still considered a family location as crazy young foreigners looking for fiesta usually choose nearby Lloret de Mar instead.
