Vegetarian options are a bit limited in Barcelona, especially if you want to try the local Catalan fare, however there are definitely some places worth checking out.

For cheap take-out, try Maoz for some quick falafel and pita on La Rambla. If you want something with a little more variety, try Organic -- they have a small stall in the back of La Boqueria, and a sit-down restaurant on carrer de Junta de Comerç.

Other options that I've heard great things about are La Buscala (30 Carrer Flassaders, near the Jaume I metro) and L'Illa de Gracia (19 Carrer Sant Domenic, Fontana metro).
