Can anyone suggest good contemporary art galleries in Barcelona?

The street for art galleries is Consell de Cent, between Passeig de Gràcia and Enric Granados. You'll find mostly contemporary art there (both abstract and figurative), but also some older type of art.

The area around the MACBA has also some good places (Pintor Fortuny and surroundings), as well as the area near the Picasso Museum in Montcada street and around the Born district, and also Petritxol street has a couple of good ones (figurative contemporary).

There are many very good art galeries in Barcelona. I like very much the Maeght Art GAllery in the Born Aerea.
