Do you have any idea what are the decent restaurants in Port Olymbic, as the way they 'fish' customers is very embarassing? Thanx!

Dear Turist,
Good morning.
My suggestion would be rather visit the restaurants located in the Barceloneta Harbout that they are not so much turistic or another possibility would be to have lunch inside a food market where they have a wonderful fish and the prices are quite reasonable.
Enjoy your stay in Barcelona,

I know it's quite embarrassing to go looking for a place to eat in Port Olímpic...
I like there Cangrejo Loco (although it's the very last one there, so you'll have to be corageous and go past the line of waiters trying to fish you to their own place, before you get there...). The food is great and my favorite is the top floor dinning room: all glass walls with very relaxing views over the sea and the beach. Perfect place for lunch! (at night too, but then it's dark: no views).
If you want to avoid "fishermen" at all costs, I used to go to La Fonda del Port Olímpic, which is quite at the beggining of the pier (that saves you saying "no, thanks..." thirty times). But I haven't been there in a while, so I'm not sure if the quality is still the same.
In the other hand, by the beach at the foot of the Hotel Arts and the Casino, I like Agua and Bestial. Great terraces for either lunch or dinner!

Dear Marta, Gracias- gracias for writing such a "in detail" reply! Now, we can make a sea food plan for next Thursday: no slow walking, but speedy jogging to Cangrejo Loco:-)) Ciao

Thanks Sandra, we'll surely try La Boqueria then!
