Hi I'm finally visiting Barcelona in April. Any local favorites to do in April that are not so tourist-y?? Thanks.

There are many things that the locals do in Barcelona. Since it is such an interesting city, they too enjoy their monumental attractions. You can take in a show, concert, enjoy time watching the crowds go by. A trip to Girona is a short train ride. The city is remarkable. Also, you can catch a plane and in 45 min. be on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. Come for a 3-day weekend. It's a side trip that not many visitors to Barcelona think about. And in April the season is very early with few tourists.
