How much is a cheap apartment rent (for one person, small apartment) in Barcelona?
I am maybe going to move to Barcelona so i am looking for cheap accommodation for 6 months to 1 year period. It would be nice if someone can give me approximate rent rates for apartments somewhere near this street "C/Joan d' Austria" upto 5 km radius maybe?

There are no cheap apparments in Barcelona. You'll be lucky if you find a small one for less than 700 euro/month. Rooms in student appartments are around 300-400 euro/month.
I agree in the subburbs you can find cheaper accomodation, but then you'll have to be ready to travel dayly in public transportation to get to the Barcelona city center.
Trains to Sabadell take 45min to 1h, depending on the line. Plus the walk home, as there are few stations.
Hospitalet is better connected by subway, rides can be around 30min maximum, but make sure your location is close to a station or you'll have to add up the walk, too.
Vic is way too far!!!!

HiI think if you go to Sabadell,Vic, Hospitalet is by Barcelona, you can found a good price there!!!! about 400€ a month

Ok, i understand living in Barcelona is not cheap, but can you tell me how much is an average wage approximately (for technical service job, for banking related machines and simmilar)?
