  • Bath's restaurants are known for their internationally diverse cuisine and exquisite dining experience. One of the first places to check out is Jamie's Italian. Jamie Oliver is one of Britain's best-known celebrity chefs, and in 2008 he unveiled an Italian restaurant in Bath. Jamie's Italian was popular from day one and is definitely worthy of the queue that often forms outside its doors. If you're craving some seafood, a must-try is Green Street Seafood Café. Voted "Best Seafood" by Good Food Magazine, seafood lovers will not be disappointed by the range and quality of food on offer at this restaurant. The restaurant is clean and freshly decorated and has a beautifully airy feel. Another excellent choice is Tilleys Bistro. Set almost in the shadow of the Abbey, Tilleys is in tourist trap territory, but don't let that put you off. It's an established favorite with visitors and locals alike. Bath's many farmers' markets are also popular eateries. A handful of freshly picked fruit makes for a delicious snack as you stroll through Bath's limestone streets. Whether you are craving dishes from award-winning restaurants or just want to indulge in a traditional afternoon tea, Bath's variety of restaurants are there to serve you.
