Description:

  • As its name implies, the Abbey Hotel is indeed close to the imposing building and adjoining square. Dating from Georgian times and accredited as being designed by Wood as merchants houses, the hotel now offers quality accommodation in the heart of this ancient city. During the summer the building is adorned with multi-colored blooms tumbling from plant boxes fixed to its lower window sills and the railings outside. All rooms are en suite and there is a lift and a ground floor bedroom for those who cannot manage the stairs. Rates for special breaks are available on request. Families are welcomed.
