- This little single-storey forester's cottage lies hidden in Corsican pine woods at Cwm Ivy between Llanmadoc village and Whiteford Sands, the Gower's most isolated beach. It belongs to the National Trust and can be rented for two nights or more throughout the year. Painted white inside and out, it's bright, cheerful and completely quiet. A wood-burning stove heats the combined dining and living room; linen is provided; and there's good laundry and kitchen facilities. Six people maximum can stay; a supplementary charge for heating and electricity is payable. For families or groups of friends who love nature and enjoy walking, this is a perfect place to stay.
