Description:

  • Small and secluded, Lavender House is not too far from the city center yet is quietly situated in an attractive residential area. Built at the beginning of the twentieth century and set amidst beautiful country gardens, the house is convenient for sightseeing yet you could be forgiven for feeling that the countryside is not too far away. Four of the bedrooms are en suite and have been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Breakfast consists of both traditional English and specialty vegetarian. Only the freshest of produce is used with a definite leaning towards organic if possible. There is a ground floor bedroom suitable for those with mobility problems and special rates for short breaks are available on request. Evening meals are available if booked in advance.
