Neighborhood Description

City Suburbs

Bath's suburbs include areas such as Odd Down, Bear Flat, Lansdown, Widcombe, Newbridge, Combe Down and Weston. Combe Down is a village-like area with a pretty centre, and Bear Flat is just out of the city centre and offers numerous B&B-style accommodation, as does Newbridge.

Weston, located to the west of the city, is a spacious area that also boasts a village-like heart. It is situated around the Royal University Hospital. Widcombe, just south of the city centre offers delicious cafes and pubs such as The White Hart, and it is also home to the beautiful Prior Park, a National Trust Estate with a famous Palladian bridge that should not be missed.

Odd Down is up on the top of Bath's most southwesterly hill, while Lansdown is the most northerly area of the city. There are some beautiful accommodation options in the latter area.
