Description:
- This Indian restaurant has been wooing the lunchtime trade of late, and many more customers are taking the short journey up the stairs into the restaurant to sample the fine Indian cuisine. Lunches offer the best value with enormous portions. The chicken dishes are especially good, but it is worth noting that the food is more heavily spiced than the usual takeaway fare, so be sure to coat your tongue in asbestos before you tackle the Beef Madras. Evening meals are slightly more expensive but great value nevertheless. Actually, it is here that you realise the true value of those stairs only the more sober customers can manage them at the end of a Saturday night, so you have every chance of a peaceful meal.
