Old Farmhouse (The)

• A run of the mill pub, there's nothing remarkable about The Old Farmhouse except that it's just off the end of Camden Crescent (one of Bath's odder - it's unfinished - Georgian crescents) and there's great live jazz there on at least four evenings each week. Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights swing here and it's free. Fortunately, the long L-shaped bar is ideal for music and if you don't like it too loud it's possible to drink around the corner where customers can hear the music and each other. As you approach, notice the sweet smell of barley from Bath's only brewery, Abbey Ales, just next door.
