- There could be no better position for Pizza Hut than the one it currently occupies. Perched on a corner beside Kingsmead Square, it manages to pull in trade from the three cinemas that are all within a two minute walk away. Unsurprisingly, the pizzas are very good. But they also serve pastas and salads so most diners should find something to suit their tastes. Children love the place, and can be kept quiet(ish) for hours with a promise to visit The Ice Cream Factory. This is a self-service machine that spews out either chocolate or vanilla ice cream onto which kids can add all sorts of revolting things, such as jellied spiders and liquorice bugs or for the more genteel, plain old fashioned smarties. You have been warned Highchairs are available for kids. This is a non-smoking restaurant.
