Porter Butt (The)

• Another of the 'real' pubs along the London Road, the Porter Butt is well-established on the music circuit too. At one time the only place to find free music in a pub was Ireland but soon it'll be difficult to get a drink in Bath without someone sticking a saxophone in your ear. Jokes apart, just, this is a real family pub with bar food and Banks' beer - a Midland brew rarely seen this far south - served at reasonable prices. Behind the bar is a huge Smoking Prohibited notice, but don't worry. It's a joke.
