• Situated in an old Georgian building a short distance from the Circus, Rapscallions is an ideal place for a filling meal, whether a hearty breakfast or a more exotic evening meal. Small, cosy and intimate, Rapscallions has a delightfully casual ambience. It consists of several smallish rooms, and the decor is simple and sturdy while still being comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Main courses include sirloin steak with sweet Guinness gravy, pasta with home-smoked salmon, and Somerset brie with chargrilled leek in filo pastry. There is an assortment of vegetable side dishes and several varieties of special bread. Desserts tend to be on the hearty side and a selection of brandies, liquors, coffees, teas - fruit, herbal or normal - are available to complete the meal.
