Description:

  • Dating back to the 17th Century, the Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church that was built on the site of a former Benedictine monastery. The church is a fine example of the Perpendicular Gothic architecture with a cruciform structure. The church has been a center of all religious activities from the time it opened its doors. Besides regular religious services, the church also hosts community events, concerts by the church choir and lectures. The Bath Abbey Heritage Vaults Museum, within its premises, offers an insight into the history of the church with the help of artifacts. Check website for details.
