Kids tend to ignore the swings, slides and helter-skelter slide and rush straight to the stream to watch the older ones sailing remote control boats. One of the best options to enjoy an afternoon at Moorlands is to pack a picnic (and a bucket and spade for the sand-pit) and allow the children to let off some steam. All that is left for you to do is uncork the bottle of Chardonnay, and watch from a distance. What bliss!
