La Tonnellerie

Description:

  • About 1.5km (1 mile) south of the center of Beaugency, this well-managed hotel is intimate and charming. It was originally built as a manor house in the 19th century, and it retains its original L-shaped design, walled garden, and sense of the era of Balzac and Flaubert. The Laura Ashley-furnished rooms are comfortable and traditional. The Pouey family can arrange visits to the château, golf, hiking, cycling, or a trip to a winery.
