Description:
This is the finest restaurant in Beaune, topping even Bernard Morillon. Just outside the city's medieval wall, it's in a 1930s-era Art Deco maison bourgeoise. Two pale-yellow-and-green dining rooms open onto a terrace overlooking the garden. Happily, prices for the well-regarded cuisine are a bit lower than you may expect. Menu items are adventurous and creative, and include tartare of beef and minced oysters, whitefish baked in a mushroom crust, and pigeon roasted with licorice and softened caramel.

Favorite in Beaune
-
This has been one of our favorites for fine dining since it opened. Innovative twists on traditional dishes, artistic presentation and a high level of service.
