Description:
- Vail Valley Medical Center holds this popular event for several days each year, bringing thousands of participants eager to hit the slopes. Each day features 5K and 10K competitive races, Kids' K, and the ever-popular Dash for Cash. After all racers have returned to the Beaver Creek Village Plaza, they can enjoy an award ceremony that features a prize raffle, complimentary food, drinks, and other festival activities. You can register in advance for USD20 or at the event for USD25. Races are held in December, January and February, benefiting the Steadman Hawkins Research Foundation. They culminate in March at the main Snowshoe Shuffle, which honors cancer victims and survivors. Check the website for updated event dates and information.
