- The Hai Dian Theater offers a variety of concerts and performances including both Western and Chinese symphony orchestras. Dance programs and other musical groups -- sometimes from overseas -- also share the stage. In addition, the Hai Dian shows recently released Chinese and American films, although the latter are almost invariably dubbed into Mandarin. This theater is popular with students, as many of Beijing's larger universities are situated in the vicinity. Call or check local press for details.
