Seven Color Earth Theater

• This theater, delightfully situated in one of Beijing's picturesque hutong alleys, stages plays primarily for children. These productions are almost invariably in Mandarin Chinese, but provide a wonderful environment for foreign children (or even adults!) to pick up a bit of the lingo. Fluent speakers can also go along and just lap up the culture. The playhouse once put on a production of "The Diary of Anne Frank", which dominated the stage for a month.
