V Bar

• This classy Sanlitun bar attracts a mostly local crowd, and with an expensive bottle service and tables with set price limits, it's no wonder. You'd be hard pressed to find expats and tourists here, but part of the reason is the overly loud live music from Beijing's loudest cover bands. Still, there is a decently stocked bar. The bartenders don't know many drinks, and in fact the menu had "long drink" and "short drink" listed but no specific cocktails.
  
  Sanlitun SOHO is relatively new, and the bars that stock it so far have been kitch and over-the-top in terms of decor and costs. Still, you can't be the location and since Sanlitun is starting to attract more locals this isn't a bad business move.
