The PLA Opera House offers ongoing performances in traditional Chinese Opera as well as the musicals and opera of revolutionary-era China. This is the foremost pace for traditional revolutionary performances and live music.
The Liyuan Theater is an opera house that specializes in performances of the traditional variety. You'll find all the classics of Peking Opera played here, as well as dances, live music and classical performances and bands. An impressive theater, the Liyuan is a staple in the evening entertainment community in Beijing.
Beijing Concert Hall, National Grand Theater and Century Theater are all beautiful and intricately designed theaters where you can find ongoing and rotating exhibitions of traditional Chinese opera, classic music from the east and west, and other performances.
