  • Its surprising how many amazing Indian restaurants exist in Beijing and have a strong following of Indian expatriates and hungry tourists who frequent them. From high-end Indian cuisines done with all the flare and spices from India, to the more affordable buffet-style eateries that fill the belly quickly and happily-- Beijing has it all!

Ganges is the largest Indian chain restaurant in Beijing. You'll love the authentic tastes, especially the chicken tikka masala and nan bread. This isn't just a single review, Ganges has won many local awards for best Indian food and amazing atmosphere.

Mirch Masala is a tried and true authentic Indian experience that comes highly recommended from the Indian expat community. With excellent lamb dishes and a hefty serving of spices, this is an amazing place to dine and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.

The Taj Pavilion is a beautiful structure housing amazing food and even special vegan dishes for our vegetarian friends.

Hazara is a beautiful place, and the food is even better! Though the cost is a bit higher, the price may be worth it. You'll love the atmosphere and crave the excellent service and tasty traditional foods.

With a weekend buffet lunch, the Indian Kitchen has become a weekend tradition for many in Beijing. Moderately priced and supremely delicious, I know where I'm going for Indian food on a budget!

For Pakistani/Indian infusions, Mughal's is an excellent choice. You'll enjoy the tandoori chicken and lamb dishes as well as the spicy and excellently prepared sauces.

And the options in Beijing don't stop there! Check out the assortment of Indian places that will satiate your cravings and leave you wanting to adventure deeper into the Indian food scene in China.
