  • Mediterranean food is a crisp, clean and refreshing cuisine that you crave all year long. In Beijing, the cravings won't subside and now you need to find a top-notch place for hummus, fatush and falafel.

For delicious, up-scale Mediterranean cuisine head to The Olive on Gongti Road. This lovely and cozy establishment serves up delicious Med food mixed with American cuisine. The Olive is known for its staple dishes and has a following of regulars that speak volumes of the restaurant's worth!

Persian food with deep Mediterranean influence is available at 1001 Nights, where you'll also be wowed by the belly dancers that hit the stage hourly in the evenings. The hummus plate is delicious and the kebab, fatush and couscous are delicious at 1001 Nights.

Argo, Mare and Album all offer Med cuisine that won't disappoint. You'll find your favorite items on the menu served by pleasant staff in decent restaurants with cliche albeit calming decor.

For upscale dining, Cigar, Jazz, Wine and Capital M offer food with a Mediterranean influence. You won't find images of Ephesus on the walls here, but delecate decor that is international, benign and generically acceptable. In short, the food is delicious, the decor conventional and the staff delightful.
