  • Business in Beijing is booming, and business is good. If you are in town for meetings, a conference or to check out a factory or new outlet, then you'll need to now the best restaurants in town for entertaining business guests.

For quite meetings around a delicious meal where you won't be competing with the noise of the music or rowdy customers, you'll want to head to Hazara. Indian food is a great way to get past the awkwardness of going out to dinner with strangers. The atmosphere at Hazara is excellent, quiet and yet intricate and interesting. You'll also win points for not going to the obvious restaurants and for researching the city's best business restaurants before calling a meeting.

Hatsune is a great place for Japanese sushi and as such offers the perfect low-key place for a more casual business meeting. You'll have a reasonably quite and calm atmosphere where you can talk shop as well as enjoy delicious food and see one of Beijing's prime restaurants.

For a fancier, Western-style meal head to Capital M or Maison Boulud. You'll have food you recognize served in a style you find common and an atmosphere that wont distract your business guests. The food is delicious, but more importantly the place is quite and you can get down to work.

For a bit more excitement in the menu and atmosphere, try Lotus Blue on the edge of Hou Hai Lake, where the atmosphere will wow your guests and cause them to take another look at you. Likewise, Bellagio is a hot spot for great food, company and especially for business.

You can hit two birds with one stone by hosting a meeting at Quanjude, Beijing's best Roast Duck restaurant. You'll be giving your guests a cultural experience as well as sitting around a large table talking shop.
