  • Restaurants near Sanlitun are some of the most popular in the city because the expat community lives and plays around this area, making it the ideal location for an international restaurant. Located in Chaoyang District north of Gongti, you'll find a wide spread of restaurants from Asian to Western, African and South American. Only Antarctica isn't represented in the area's cuisine.

One of the more popular places is Blue Frog, where the Monday night two-for-one burger deal has become epic. Great happy hours and decent food and decor make this an expat favorite in the heart of the Village. Across the way, the Union Bar and Grill does similar cuisine.

The Loft is a great place in the Village for an Asian meal. Noodles, vegetables and meat in expertly mixed sauce make this a great pre-drinking meal for a night on the town.

Ole! Go Spanish with cuisine from Mare, a great way to start the party early with tasty food, great drinks and a fun atmosphere.

Bar Blu is one of the hottest clubs in town, and with a little menu, its a one-stop-shop for those who want to hit the clubs early.

Ganges Indian Restaurant, in the Village, is a great place for a large group to hit the town together early before hitting the bottle. The food is fantasic and represents a broad range of Indian traditions. Weekends have dancing performances.
