- Bite-a-Pita, one of Beijing's best Middle Eastern restaurants, is owned by a friendly Israeli man and wife duo who continue to bring some of the best food and drinks to the city in terms of Israeli food. You'll find decent but plain decor, comfortable but plain chairs and tables and harsh lighting. Located on Beijing's best bar street its a shock that such a decent restaurant is located in such a harsh area. Still, for fine Israeli food and drink this is the best joint in town and it continues to win local awards for best Middle Eastern chow in town.
