- Lau Pa Sak is where homesick Singaporeans go for a taste of home. Located in the embassy area, its small space is often crammed with foreigners, and many of the diners are regulars which lends a comfortable feel. The waitresses are polite and efficient, and the menu includes English. The menu features Laksa (spicy noodles in soup) and Hainan Chicken (cold deboned chicken served with rice and chicken broth). Specials are not featured on the menu, and include a delicious fried savory pancake with carrot. For something different, try the Ginger Tea - a milk tea infused with slices of ginger.
