Description:
The dimmed restaurant, decorated with prayer wheels and Buddhist statues, offers stylish vegetarian food that wows in taste and presentation. Highlights include the pumpkin soup and the vegetarian dumplings. A monk supposedly owns the restaurant, but we suspect that he's more of a businessman given the relatively high prices. This Holiday Inn Lido location is a bit of a trek from central Beijing, but offers a stylish, not-to-be-missed setting.
