Description:
This is the only place dishing up Persian food in the city. Be forewarned, however: Alcohol is not served at Rumi, but they make up for it with an extensive offering of fruit juices, milkshakes, and teas. Plus, if you're looking for a buzz, the restaurant offers hookahs -- long water pipes with fruit-flavored tobaccos. The portions are generous, grilled meats are seasoned with tasty spices, and the dips and sauces are divine. The bread, which can be on the dry and bland side, could use some sprucing up. Grab a seat on the outdoor terrace if the weather's nice, or otherwise dine in elegance amongst minimalist, off-white decor and vaulted ceilings.
