• Hou Hai Lake is in the north-west of the central part of the city, directly north of another, smaller lake Qian Hai. Hou Hai is surrounded in bars, restaurants and shopping stalls. You can find five star food and drinks on one side of the lake, and dollar beers not a ten minute walk away, also with lake-side views. During the evening, you'll find every manner of entertainment and drinking, while during the day you can take boat rides, go sailing and even fishing. In winter, ice skating is an option, or simply walking around under old bridges on the ice. It is a beautiful and romantic place year round!
