User Review:
- Beijing has an interesting fascination with salons. In even the smallest suburb with few or no foreigners will have at least two large hair salons and a staff of 10-15 minimum. I'm overstating just a bit on the staff, but it really is a thing to behold. Except for the villa areas in the N.E. corner of town, you basically can't swing a dead cat without hitting someone who works in a hair place. If you see young men dressed as though they were going clubbing with strange looking hair, it is very likely those guys are hair stylists and not anything else.
