Description:
- The Temple of the Reclining Buddha is a shrine to Buddha which includes a 17 foot (5.2 meter) Buddha cast in bronze. The temple was built in the 7th Century, although the statue of Buddha was added later. The temple has been rebuilt and renamed several times, but it has always remained an awe inspiring site. There are several buildings and courtyards, as well as a marble archway.
