Description:
- The Workers' Gymnasium, also known as the Workers Indoor Arena, is an impressive indoor arena. The venue can hold up to 13,000 people and has 40,200 square meters (432,700 square feet) of floor space. Completed in 1961, the arena has been renovated for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The improvements include wheelchair access, electrical equipment and ventilation. The arena will host the 2008 Olympic boxing event and the 2008 Paralympics Judo event.
