Bars and Clubs near The Great Mile, Belfast, United Kingdom

  • Ah yes, the Irish. They sing and drink, and, they...drink and drink! While Dublin might have Temple Bar, Belfast has massive amounts of pubs with more than a few characters to spare. Bars like the Crown Liquor Saloon built in the early 1800's are plentiful in Belfast, as is live music, at 4 p.m., on a weekday. Robinson's is a thriving and lively bar set right in the middle of the city - beside the famous Crown Liquor Saloon and across the road from the Europa Hotel and the Grand Opera House. This is a bar that is busy at all times and popular with a wide, varied mixture of people. Located a bit out of the town center, Mono Bar Café is one of the coolest places to hang out in Belfast. With a chic Japanese interior and cream color scheme, along with comfortable leather chairs, this is the place to come to chill with a group of friends. Regarding the music, there is traditional Irish folk tunes in almost every pub, but you can also find your fair share of American cover bands. So don't be afraid to get in touch with your inner Madonna.
