• Located at The Bravern shopping center in tony downtown Bellevue, this is easily the best new upscale restaurant Puget Sound has seen this year, perhaps this decade.  Start with the foamy orange truffle cocktails with dark rum, moving on to the succulent Oysters Rockefeller as a generous appetizer.  The Caesar salad is prepared tableside, and don't miss the asparagus with Hollandaise along with the enormous, shelled crab legs from the Berants Sea. The centerpiece of the restaurant, of course, is the A5-grade imported Japanese Kobe beef that can be served alongside American Wagyu beef for comparison.  For dessert, try the New Orleans-style Bananas Foster prepared tableside, along with some Hungarian Royal Tokaji dessert wine.  This restaurant easily trumps Seattle's El Gaucho, and without the off-putting attitude.
