- In the 1950s this cinema was celebrated as an architectural novelty. Even today you can still feel the spirit of the golden years despite the fact that the cinema has undergone numerous face changes since. The Zoo Palast celebrated its most glamorous moments during the Berlin Film Festival, when popular stars like Walt Disney, Jodie Foster, Tom Hanks and Dustin Hoffman graced it with their presence. The Film Festival has now moved to Potsdamer Platz and only a laser show is left to provide the glamour.
