Description:
- Crossing over the River Spree from Friedrichstraße station, you'll almost immediately come across Allegra, a medium-sized establishment catering to an upmarket clientele. The mid-19th century building with its classical facade and modern interior is situated near the Deutsches Theater, the Kammerspiele and the Berliner Ensemble, the legendary theatre founded by German playwright Bertolt Brecht. The Friedrichstadtpalast is also just a stone's throw away, although the shows put on here aren't of the same quality as the aforementioned establishments. The rooms facing the courtyard are quieter than those facing the street, although the latter boast fantastic views of the Reichstag.
