Hotel Riehmers Hofgarten

Description:

  • Wilhelm Riehmer despised the squalid buildings and gloomy courtyards, which were the norm in late-19th century Berlin. And it was in the name of progress that he built 20 town houses with lovely, sunny gardens along Yorckstraße. The entire complex survived wartime bombing raids and was thoroughly renovated in the early 80s. It exudes the exquisite charm of yesteryear, with antique lampposts and long stretches of lawn enclosed by low iron fences. Guests of Riehmers Hofgarten Hotel will delight in this ambience. Also highly recommended is the wonderful restaurant located in the same complex, E.T.A. Hoffmann.
